This episode is the first one with two guests, Dr Claire Phipps and Caroline Phipps-Urch who have an excellent podcast: the menopause sisters.
Claire is a GP, trainer and mentor in London, with a special interest in menopause and reproductive health, Caroline is a trauma aware yoga teacher and also weaves cognitive behavioural therapy into her work.
We look at the inner world lying beneath the menopause experience and how trauma may trigger emotional and physical symptoms, and how we might address this.
You can find the menopause sisters on Facebook and Instagram where they are @themenopausesisters
Their podcast is on UK Health Radio, just search for The menopause Sisters
My book Second Spring: the self-care guide to menopause is available from your favourite book shop, Amazon is of course very easy, but don’t forget the independent bookshops do a nifty mail order service too.
You will find the podcast on Spotify, iTunes and all major platforms, just search for ‘Life – An Inside Job’. If you enjoyed the episode yourself, then it would be fab if you shared it with a friend or with your community.
I’d love to connect with you on social media, I use Instagram, where I am @kate_codrington
