Nidra For All Seasons
A series of 25-minute Yoga Nidra guided meditation sessions to connect with the (Northern Hemisphere) season and give you precious time to rest.
Each month I offer a bespoke Yoga Nidra, online, to ground us into the energy of the season, so we can reconnect with the earth and recharge. Combining body awareness, breath and imagery taken from my garden and countryside around me, the Nidra is recorded for you to enjoy through the rest of the month. You have the opportunity to co-create the Nidras , if you'd like to, by contributing the words you would find comforting. This makes each Nidra unique, responding to not just the season but what you bring to the session. You have control over what you absorb to create a gentle, trauma-aware, healing meditation.
I also offer bespoke Yoga Nidra for specific emotional and physical issues in 1-2-1 sessions and for groups and you can buy Yoga Nidra tracks to download here.
A sacred journey into the imaginal realm that truly transforms bu literally doing nothing - how amazing and Zen is that?
A regular nidrista
Kate's yoga nidras make me feel like a cloud snuggled up with another, mother cloud, safe and warm, cosy and comfy. They are deeply, profoundly, beautifully healing meditations. I truly imagine we could live in world harmony if everyone could receive a yoga nidra a day. Kate is a wonderful yoga nidra guide. Her energy is so kind, loving, and compassionate that she makes you feel seen, heard and understood.
What’s Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that requires no expertise or experience, only the willingness to be relatively still for twenty minutes or so. You can fall asleep (most people do), you can get really comfy and you can cosy up with all your favourite blankets and cushions. It’s heavenly!
It also has profound healing effects, offering not only rest but also the heightened awareness of a profound spiritual practice. Under a blanket! If you’re tempted but not quite sure, you’re welcome to drop me a line or you could listen to this recording here.
I’ve used Yoga Nidra consistently for the last five years and it has been a sweet refuge, healing and delight for me. It’s an absolute delight to be able to share it with you.
My style is permissive, gentle and trauma aware. My intention is to hold space for you with sensitivity so you can drop into your deeper consciousness.
These Nidras are often co-created in that you can send me the words you would like to hear and I weave them into the Nidra, like a DJ who takes requests! Links to the recordings are sent by email, usually straight after the session so if you are not available at 6.30pm UK, you can still participate.
The invitation is to deepen your relationship to your Self and to the earth by listening to the recording through the month. If you're curious about how Yoga Nidra works, then this article describing what Yoga Nidra is, will be helpful.
Who is this for?
Adults of all ages, genders, colours and cultures are welcome to join. All that’s required is an openness to connect with your body and rest. No previous experience or special cleverness is required.
I love the nidras. I found them/Kate’s practice at a time my body and soul were crying out for some care and compassion from the world, for some acknowledgement and kindness, for a place in a female world of solidarity. The nidras are very loving. They make me feel that I am being looked after and celebrated and loved. The nidras take me to magical places in my imagination and also I get such deep relaxation from them. Sometimes I have the biggest cry- which is a huge relief.
Confidentiality
Only the Nidras will be recorded in the sessions. Your participation and identity will not be shared outside of the group. For more about confidentiality, you can see how I take care of that here.
How to join
The cost of this season is £36 or £18 with the code LOVENIDRA 20% of the money goes to Black Minds Matter UK.

They have helped me with anxiety, Kate’s voice is very soothing and her way in which her words flow and Her conviction are respectful, restorative and mindful, caring, gentle.

The nidras are one of the most powerful tools in my kit. The regularity, familiarity, coupled with (co) creativity and surprise each time have made them a staple in my self care routine-regime. Deeply grateful.
Kate’s yoga nidra sessions remind me that I can trust being here in the world. Rose Ravetz
