Yoga and Menopause – hot (and bothered) at 50
There’s a fallacy about yoga that it brings you to a calm and peaceful place every time. As anyone who’s been to a class knows, it’s not always like that! In fact, in my opinion it shouldn’t be like that; yoga is a place where we get to observe our mental, emotional and physical patterns and nudge up against their edges. Very often when we are uncomfortable in a class, as I was in hot yoga, we get to discover what our bodies actually need. Here’s what I discovered about Yoga and the Menopause.
