Mindfulness is a wonderful thing, life-saving even, but the presentation and language can make it a bit out of reach. But artist, illustrator and author Lucy Irving delivers mindfulness with colour, wit and playfulness in her illustrations, which are hopeful reminders to stay present to the everyday joys and sorrows that are familiar to all of us, especially in lockdown.
I first came across Lucy’s work on Instagram where she’s @likeliterallylucy and I was blown away by the sheer joyful daftness and we had a delicious conversation about creativity and mindfulness and how together, they can make us happier.
You can find Lucy’s beautiful prints, books and very soon, her online courses on her website
