Description

A collection of four immersive Yoga Nidras inspired by the pleasures and wisdom of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each practice invites you into deep rest while reconnecting you with your body’s innate capacity for pleasure and the living rhythms of nature.

We humans are brilliantly designed to notice what’s wrong: our nervous systems scan for danger far more readily than they notice ease, beauty or joy. While this helps us survive, it can leave us disconnected from one of our greatest resources: pleasure.

These Yoga Nidras gently shift your attention towards the places where pleasure is already quietly waiting. A warm hand. A soft breath. A sense of spaciousness. The scent of rain. The feeling of being held by the earth. By repeatedly resting with these experiences, you cultivate a nervous system that is more able to receive nourishment, resilience and delight.

Each Nidra explores the unique qualities of one season, helping you access them whenever you need them. The cycles of our creative projects, our days, our relationships, our menstrual cycles, menopause and the ongoing seasons of ageing are all seasonal. These practices help you recognise and embody the gifts each season offers, wherever you are.

Winter – Deep Rest

A practice of grounding, stillness and profound restoration. Perfect when you are:

  • exhausted or close to burnout
  • recovering from illness
  • completing a relationship or life chapter
  • finishing a creative project
  • in the evening before sleep
  • menstruating
  • moving through menopause
  • simply longing for peace

Spring – Awakening

A practice of curiosity, tenderness, possibility and playful exploration. Beautiful when you are:

  • beginning something new
  • entering a fresh creative cycle
  • waking into a new day
  • emerging after menstruation
  • stepping into your Second Spring after menopause
  • learning something unfamiliar
  • wanting to reconnect with optimism and wonder

Summer – Blossoming

A practice of confidence, expansion, connection and joyful aliveness. Ideal when you are:

  • immersed in creative flow
  • celebrating success or recognition
  • around ovulation
  • wanting to feel more open-hearted
  • seeking intimacy or erotic connection
  • enjoying the expansive energy of midday
  • inhabiting your Second Summer in later life

Autumn – Release

A practice of discernment, clarity and coming home to yourself. Especially supportive when you are:

  • editing or refining a creative project
  • in the premenstrual phase
  • navigating relationship challenges
  • negotiating or making important decisions
  • involved in activism or meaningful work
  • letting go of what no longer serves
  • craving honesty, simplicity and inner truth

Created as part of the November 2019 Nidra series, these four practices have been re-recorded as a collection you can return to for nourishment.

Each Yoga Nidra is a 28-minute MP3 audio meditation, available for immediate download after purchase. Look out for the email when you purchase, if you don’t see it immediately, check your spam dept, just in case.

What clients say about Kate’s Yoga Nidra

Kate’s Yoga Nidras make me feel like a cloud snuggled up with another, mother cloud, safe and warm, cosy and comfy. They are deeply, profoundly, beautifully healing meditations. I truly imagine we could live in world harmony if everyone could receive a Yoga Nidra a day. Kate is a wonderful Yoga Nidra guide. Her energy is so kind, loving, and compassionate that she makes you feel seen, heard and understood.

A sacred journey into the imaginal realm that truly transforms bu literally doing nothing – how amazing and Zen is that?

I love the Nidras. I found them, and Kate’s practice ,at a time my body and soul were crying out for some care and compassion from the world, for some acknowledgement and kindness, for a place in a female world of solidarity. The Nidras are very loving. They make me feel that I am being looked after and celebrated and loved. The Nidras take me to magical places in my imagination and also I get such deep relaxation from them. Sometimes I have the biggest cry- which is a huge relief.

The Nidras are one of the most powerful tools in my kit. The regularity, familiarity, coupled with (co) creativity and surprise each time have made them a staple in my self care routine-regime. Deeply grateful.

Kate’s Yoga Nidra sessions remind me that I can trust being here in the world. Rose Ravetz
