Rite of Passage Yoga Nidras
£28.00
Seven therapeutic Yoga Nidras (of 41-53 minutes) designed to help repair shame, soften the effects of boundary violations and bring greater ease, wholeness and freedom to the major rites of passage that have shaped your life.
Description
A rite of passage marks the crossing from one way of being into another. Our culture celebrates some of these transitions: graduations, weddings, milestone birthdays for example, but the most profound passages in our lives often receive little acknowledgement at all.
Menarche, first sexual experiences, conception, birth, and other defining thresholds are frequently navigated in a haze of silence, shame, confusion, denial or overwhelm. When these experiences are unsupported, rushed or boundaries are violated, they leave lasting imprints that shape how we move through life for years to come.
This unique collection of therapeutic Yoga Nidras offers a gentle way to revisit these important thresholds. Rather than analysing the past or forcing positive thinking, each practice invites you into deep rest, where the liminal space between waking and sleeping can soften old patterns, restore a sense of safety, and create room for something new to emerge.
The Yoga Nidras are 42-53 minutes long (totalling more than 5 hours of Yoga Nidra!) and explore different rites of passage:
- Incarnation & Calling
- Your gestation
- Your birth
- Menarche
- First Sexual Experience
- Conception
- Birthing
To my knowledge, this is a unique application of Yoga Nidra. These practices have been carefully created to hold tender experiences with warmth, respect and spaciousness, allowing you to explore them gently and entirely at your own pace.
The audio tracks are available to download after purchase: the link is in the email after you buy, if it doesn’t appear, check your spam dept just in case.
Some feedback from regular Yoga Nidra clients
I’ve listened to many, many nidras, but keep coming back to Kate’s because she gets it! Her voice holds deep understanding, as well as kindness and care. Even listening to the recordings, it feels like she’s right there beside you, holding you, witnessing you. I feel at ease and safe in her nidras. Thank you Kate!
Kate’s Yoga Nidra practices manage to feel easy and relaxing while still creating a profound level of shift. I’m a Yoga Nidra teacher, and when I need a deep rest practice, Kate is my favorite teacher to turn to. In fact, she was recommended to me during training by my own instructor!
I’m hugely grateful to have found Kate. Her voice is so soothing. She says her voice is here ‘to hold you’ and that feels absolutely accurate! If you wish to calm your nervous system, do these Nidras as often as you can. Fiona
Practising Yoga Nidras with Kate has been life transforming. Such a powerful way to radically rest and restore. Very grateful for all the creativity and energy that goes into offering these deeply healing spaces.
I love Kate’s Yoga Nidra. Her use of words is so beautiful, always has a theme and I feel restored after each of them which is such a gift!
Thank you for holding space for me to rest each month, Kate. These nidras are a monthly balm for my nervous system. – Markéta
A beautiful piece of time carved out especially for me, to be me and experience whatever comes. Thank you Kate.
