menopause-perimenopause-retreat

Exploring the psychological path from perimenopause to Second Spring

10am-5pm Saturday 29th April

Chalice Well, Glastonbury

Fully Booked

We're planning another retreat for later in the year, if this is of interest, you can leave your details here to be the first in the know

The depth of perimenopause experience comes as a great surprise. It’s not only about physical symptoms, the psychological and spiritual shifts push loudly for attention too. We can feel adrift from ourselves, lost, and beset with endless challenges like bereavements, or relationships ending all clustering around the perimenopause years.

This retreat offers a profound, embodied experience of the personal growth to be found in perimenopause and menopause, laced with a down-to-earth and refreshing perspective that you are absolutely the authority on your process and need a safely held environment for your wisdom to emerge.

Practical details

The retreat day includes a delicious, healthy, vegan and gluten-free lunch and cake, teas and nibbles - so you need not have to bring or do a thing! It is being held at the magical Chalice Well in Glastonbury in the meeting room. It's a warm, bright and airy space which we have use of until 4.30pm, this gives you 30 mins to ground yourself in the gardens, which will be full of May's glory.

Kate leads and holds space with deep rooted knowledge, openness, incredible compassion and respect.

By coming together with people who ‘get it’ in a held space, and being guided by the Medicine Circle, an embodied energy practice, you can develop a sense of trust and safety as you navigate this multi-levelled rite of passage and emerge in the new cycle with your Second Spring, postmenopause.

At this workshop you will discover:

  • An embodied sense of trust that you can do this!
  • The three psychological phases of menopause
  • How perimenopause can soften into acceptance
  • The gifts of each phase
  • Your unique self-care needs for each phase
  • An embodied preview of Second Spring
  • A deep excitement about your creative potential in the second part of your life
  • Your next steps to care for yourself

There will be plenty of time for sharing, journaling, and personalised advice. A nourishing vegan lunch, cake, tea and snacks are also provided.

Joining one of Kate’s workshops is like giving myself an indulgent treat . I never care about the agenda as I just trust that the day will be a nourishing , safe and inclusive experience and she gives permission for just doing things your own way with lots of different ideas and suggestions , including doing nothing at all if that’s what you need at any time . Pure escapism from the demands of everyday life .
