What happens at the next club?

At our next Fuck It Club in July, we’re looking at our symptoms. We’ll be using a safe, guided practice to listen to what our body is trying to communicate to us and by really hearing it, create a deeper, more loving relationship with ourselves.

Warning: this workshop will not make your symptoms disappear, but it might just help you integrate some shadowy parts of yourself so you become more whole.

What is Fuck It Club?

Journeying through the transformation of menopause can be challenging, especially in a culture that has a negative view of the process. Coming together with people who get it, where you can lean-in and feel safe enough to get curious about your own process is absolute gold dust.

Together we can ditch the negative and open to healing.

If this sounds inviting, then I warmly invite you to join me at Fuck It Club; a soulful space for you to explore the challenges and gifts of menopause as an embodied adventurer.

The number one gift of menopause is that we get to say fuck it:

  • Fuck it to pretending
  • Fuck it to apologising for who we are
  • Fuck it to staying small

While we’re in this menopausal process of transformation, it takes a little (and sometimes a lot) of unravelling to be able to see what we want to hold onto and what needs to be released. To say fuck it with discernment, it’s essential we have the space to be present and to accept our vulnerabilities. This group is a sort of menopause pyjama party, where you can just grab a cup of tea and hang out with women who get it, settle in and unfold.

It’s suitable for you if you are experiencing menopause or perimenopause have worked with me before, or with another menopause mentor. You’ll have an understanding of the inner seasons and might have been practising menstrual cycle awareness or attended a Red School workshop or similar, and be looking for a dedicated circle for menopause.

We’ll use the seasonal structure and the phases SeparationSurrender and Emergence as a way of understanding how we can take care of ourselves. As we journey through these phases and seasons, as they show up in our everyday lives, we can come together to identify which resources we’d like to put in our backpacks, and what we’d like to leave behind.

The 90-min space gives you the opportunity to share your unfolding experience, connect with others on the same journey and deepen your relationship with your body and compassion towards your Self.

We’ll flow with the needs of the group, but the format will roughly follow:

  • Check-in
  • An embodied practice, meditation or soulful inspiration
  • Sharing
  • Close with next steps
